Healthy Water Links
Many excellent water filters, such as the solid carbon block version I distribute, do NOT remove minerals, because the point of drinking healthy water is to have a source of natural minerals your body needs. The only way you can rid all minerals from your water is with a RO (reverse osmosis) system, which I also distribute. The problem with RO systems is they waste a lot of water to produce the final product.
Most municipal water has fluoride pumped into it. The historic medical wisdom is this helped against teeth decay. However, the fluoride that is used is the same product used in rat poisons. Your toothpaste’s label advises that you do not ingest it; there’s a reason for that.
Since this mineral is artificially supplemented into water supplies, which benefits only the companies that supply it, it’s time the practice is abolished. The scientific consequences of long-term fluoride consumption may not be in your best health interests.
To find out how much fluoride is in your water, you can go to this site. Getting rid of fluoride must be addressed on a local, not federal level. So each municipality must petition its representatives directly. You might put together a petition and take it to your local PTA or town meeting.
